Jefferson Energy Cooperative’s application procedure incorporates Work Ready Georgia standards which include the WorkKeys testing process. We require applicants interested in employment with Jefferson Energy Cooperative to take the following WorkKeys tests.

Although we use this tool to determine if someone can successfully perform the job listed, we will also take into consideration past experience and education. Scoring levels range from <3-7. Please be sure to turn in your test scores for each section, not your WorkKeys certificate.

Applications should be submitted by the deadline. If you are unable to submit your scores at the same time due to testing availability you may submit them no later than two weeks past the deadline. However, applications may be updated at any time but may not be considered for the current posting.

WorkKeys tests can be taken at most technical colleges or One Stop Career Centers. Type in Test Site Locator Form in the search section of the site and find other testing locations near you.

Note: We are aware there is limited availability for testing. Below is the latest information we have on testing facilities. Each applicant is responsible for scheduling the tests. The cost of the assessments are also the responsibility of the applicant.
Per Augusta Tech: Limited testing is available for up to 8 students. Most testing is offered on Thursdays. All payments are done over the phone prior to testing. They ask that test takers wear masks to testing. Individuals can contact Lakeshia by email to set up testing at firstname.lastname@example.org.
