Frequently Asked Questions
Your billing cycle may change to correspond to the Cooperative Flex Service bill cycle.
No. There is no charge to switch to Cooperative Flex Rate.
The Cooperative Flex Rate is designed to help members save by encouraging energy use during off-peak, discounted periods. However, it is possible to pay more with the Cooperative Flex Rate if energy use isn’t shifted away from peak demand times. To maximize your savings, we recommend shifting your energy use-especially high-energy appliances and EV charging-to off-peak hours when rates are lower.
You must remain on the Cooperative Flex Rate for a minimum of twelve (12) consecutive months before you can switch back to your previous plan.
To maximize your savings, the best time to charge your EV is during our discount energy times. During the months of December through February, the discount energy times begin at 12:00 p.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. and then begin again at 10:00 p.m. and end at 4:00 a.m. During the months of March through November, the discount energy times begin at 11:00 p.m. and end at 7:00 a.m.
