Jefferson Energy Cooperative is a non-profit electric cooperative serving parts of eleven different counties in the CSRA for more than 75 years.

Jefferson Energy Cooperative’s mission is to safely deliver reliable and competitively priced electricity to our member-consumers. We do this through a highly-skilled, committed and motivated workforce. We serve to improve the quality of life for our members and communities.

 

PAYMENT CENTERS

We are pleased to offer several billing services to suit your needs. These include levelized billing, automatic bank draft, and our Senior Citizen Billing Cycle. We also accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and E-Checks.

We also have four PaySite Kiosks for your convenience. They are located at Sprint Foods on Deans Bridge Road, Cross Creek Road in Hephzibah, Peach Orchard Road in Augusta, and the Jet Food Store in Harlem.

We are now partnering with over 50,000 retail locations across the country, including Dollar General, CVS, Speedway, 7 Eleven, and Family Dollar, to bring our members even more convenience when it comes to paying your utility bill.

To use checkout, simply find your barcode located on your bill or use this link, jec.sedccheckout.com, to get your unique barcode. Once you have it, you can visit your local retailers and use your barcode to pay your bill. The system is CASH ONLY. Once the payment is processed your account will be updated in real time. A convenience fee of $1.50 per transaction will be charged.

 
 

Changes To Mail Delivery

Effective October 1, the U.S. Postal Service implemented revised service standards for certain First-Class Mail and Periodicals. While most mail will go unaffected by the change, mail traveling across state lines and great distances are resulting in the delivery extensions could take several days. Please note this may delay your receipt of mail from us (bills, notices) and our receipt of mail from you (including payments). Avoid postal delays by enrolling in E-Billing, our JEC Power Link or Auto-Pay today. Give us a call at 877-JEFFERSON or 706-547-2167 today.
