Jefferson Energy has open Membership and will provide service to any member living within its boundaries. You may become a member by paying the membership fee, providing a security deposit, filling out a written application and having service connected.
Each member of Jefferson Energy may participate in the Cooperative by attending Jefferson Energy’s Annual Meeting of Members. Each July, members elect representatives of Jefferson Energy’s Board of Directors
Applying For Service
You may apply for service at any of Jefferson Energy Cooperative’s area offices between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. (The Thomson and Louisville offices close from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. for lunch.)
For locations that have never had electric service, please contact us as soon as possible to allow our Operations Department to schedule your connection without unnecessary delays.
